About Prerna Awards
Inspiring Creativity, Celebrating Language
The Prerna Awards were conceptualized to foster excellence in creativity and provide a platform for participants to showcase their expressive talents and innovative skills. With a mission to build pride in one’s mother tongue and cultural heritage, the awards encourage language to be seen not just as schoolwork, but as a tool for communication, creativity, and self-expression – one of the most vital 21st-century skills.
The Global Hindi Championship, under the Prerna Awards, enhances passion and respect for Hindi through storytelling competitions that explore powerful themes such as:
Gandhi: Relevance in the 21st Century
Environment and Sustainability
Innovation and Automation
Winners earn the opportunity to compete in the Finale in Singapore, with prizes and even the chance for an internship with an award-winning movie director.
